It can be that colour if the milk didn’t yet go through the baby’s system and it can contain bile. A little is okay, it could also be due to reflux as formula can have that effect. Don’t worry though! As long as baby seems happy it’s okay! x
Are you sure its vomit and not spit up? I noticed my baby spits up a lot more with formula. I use similac the sensitive stomach one makes her spit up orange and the blue one would turn a light yellow-eventually brown. Doctor told me it was completely normal for her to spit up as long as everything else is okay and they're known as "happy spitters".
But I did notice when I switched to the sensitive stomach (less milk) she threw up a lot less
She rarely spits up now that she has been getting only breast milk for 4-5 weeks
