I am so over this morning sickness already. I have consulted a private GP who have offered me Xonvea, which will cost £30 for the prescription only and it will cost me an extra £45 for the medication itself. Has anyone tried it? Is it worth the money?

I had Cyclizine for my last pregnancy but cant remember if it was helpful or not. Its only a 2 day wait until I get to speak to my GP but I feel like im dying 😣😩
Could you call 111? In my first pregnancy I did as it were the weekend and they were able to prescribe me some medication for the meantime until I could see my regular doctor
I had xonvea and it was the only thing that worked. But your normal gp or a walk in clinic gp can absolutely prescribe this on the nhs and you should get it free as pregnancy exemption. Its one of the first line treatments recommended by NICE since 2023 but a lot of drs just arent aware of it. Hope this helps you push for it!
