Okay, this one is for the mama's that have super energetic babies. My first baby used to fall asleep in my arms while rocking her, and I could transfer her to her crib and be good for the rest of the night. Took me like 15 minutes on average, minus some regressions here and there. But this second baby... he doesn't close his eyes... anyone out there found a way to get them to fall asleep other than nursing? That stopped working for him a while ago.

Learn more about our guidelines.I make sure my babe is up at least 3-4 hours before bedtime. We PLAY as much as we can, go outside, social, etc. Eat a big ole dinner then a nice relaxing bath. After Drying off and jammies we read 2 books, then if he doesn’t fall asleep then we just rock and sing to him for as long as he needs. Don’t know if this helped at all, but figured I’d share our tactic 😂
We stay up for about 5-6 hours before bedtime. Last nap ends no later than 4 and I put him to bed at 9. We play hard, eat dinner, bath every night, lotion, diaper, clothes, play a little longer, than he is ready for bed. And feed him milk and then put him down and he goes down. Still wakes up for night feedings between 2-4 times a night
The only thing that has been working for me is holding him down on my chest, even if he's crying, until he finally falls asleep. I have to do this for every nap and every night at bedtime. And he sleeps on me 100% of the time or else he wont sleep at all🥲
I either rock her to sleep or I lay her down with a teether and she’ll fall asleep when she’s ready. I do bath, magnesium lotion on her feet. Then she gets a leg/arm massage along with her temples. I put her homemade lotion on her face, brush teeth get dressed. I’ll feed her her bottle if she falls asleep great if she doesn’t we read a book say our prayers then lay her down with her chewy. She still wakes up 3-6x a night wanting milk.
@Cici this is similar to what we've been needing to do. Otherwise, he won't go to sleep on his own until late.
@Bailey how many naps a day does he get during the day? We've done routines like this and it still takes me over an hour to put him to sleep and I just dont have the energy anymore.
@Liz how many naps during the day does he get? We've been trying the stay up 5-6 hours before bed with a bedtime routine, and it worked the first night or two, but he will still wake up 10 min later crying and he continues to do this for at least an hour before he finally knocks out and still wakes up 2-4 times at night.
@Akemy he takes 2 naps a day the longest being in the morning around 930/10 and then another anywhere from 1 to 3 depending on how our day is
