Learn more about our guidelines. My boy stands up to pee and sits down to poop, always has since 2yrs since we trained. He has a stool that he steps on, faces the toilet and pees into the bowl, he doesn’t sit to pee.
@Kellie ok for 2yo u must've used a high step stool for him to get pee in there?
@Jasmin yes I wanna try this but omg the space is so small there's nowhere to put it
Not really. It’s not that high. His penis sits on the side rim of the toilet perfectly lol.
@Kellie ooh, I love this setup! Did he learn how to aim right away or how does that work? I would love to try this.
@Jasmin he learned right away I just told him to point at the water. I’ve heard some mums put a ping pong ball in- it doesn’t flush, it’s so light. But we didn’t have to, it’s a good idea if you need though
Teach him to push his penis down so it’s pointing the right direction.
@Kellie thanks! Can’t wait to try.
We just sit right now. I don’t think they really need to stand for a while until they’re older. They can easily sit. And it’s a lot cleaner
Not me reading this just incase I have a boy next🫣
@Kellie did you use that IKEA stool to help him stand to pee into adult toilet or did you start with separate potty where it's already on the ground?
My boy peed for the first time sitting on potty on adult toilet but it went everywhere I had to point his penis down which I feel bad about because it happened so fast!!!! Next time I'll guide his own hand right?
We went straight to that just the stool at first yeah faced the toilet and peed into the bowl but if he’s standing peeing yeah just teach him to lightly point it down at the base of his groin w the tip of his finger esp in the mornings when it’s a lil hard 😂 if he doesn’t point it down in the mornings it goes all over the top of the seat yeah so ESP in the mornings when he’s half asleep that’s when he might need some help and we do it lol. The rest of the day he does it if needed.
@Kellie what stool height helps with this? Is boybsi tall one?
@Gabrielle even sitting down my son needs to point his penis down with his hand or it can still get everywhere.
