Potty training

Potty training before a house move?

Hi! Bit of background information I am Irish however have been living in the UK for three years now, at the end of April myself, my partner, and our 2 and a half year old will be moving back to Ireland! We will be living with my parents for a few weeks whilst renovations are being finished at our new apartment. I tried to potty train my daughter at the beginning of the year however she wasn’t taking to it and everyone was getting stressed so we took a break, I had planned to resume again when we had settled back in Ireland. In the meantime we’re still talking about the potty, reading potty books etc. last night completely unprompted she took herself to the potty for a poo! I was thinking that maybe she’s ready? Am I crazy attempting to potty train her before such a big life change? She will have a new house, new area, new country, and will be leaving her nursery that she’s been attending since she’s 1

Chicken pox

Hello, My toddler has a suspected case of chicken pox. Shes got a few spots on her back, oje on her arm, one on her head and hand. Now these have appeared what can I expect next realistically? If she was going to get a temperature etc would she already have had one before they appeared?

Baby milestones

Behaviour is just getting extreme.

Hi guys, so my son is 3 in August. He is honestly getting so exhausting, he's so naughty when hes at home. Doesn't listen to mummy or Daddy, absolute nightmare at bed time. Won't let me get him changed, just daddy and then if I start trying to change him he starts hitting. He's just tried to bend his safety rail tonight. Please tell me someone else's is like this 😫

Will my sons childminder let him in with a graized chin?

Hi guys. So somehow my son slipped this evening and graized his chin on the sofa, he cried for about 30 seconds but is absolutely fine. My sons childminder is strict when it comes to head injuries, is this classed as a head injury? Will he be able to go in? Any help is appreciated xx

Feeling useless

Im currently unwell and so are both my children. Weve spent the morning watching lion ling and 101 dalmations, reading and the baby crawling round floor play and cuddles. I feel like a really awful parent the screen time makes me feel horrendous, how do people manage when ill, i have no energy to do much. Feels like im damaging them
