Second pregnancy here we go!

Just found out we’re pregnant! Currently 5 weeks and very excited. Is there anything I need to prep for before number 2 comes along?

Maybe a doll for your older childC so you model some behaviour before your baby comes along.

Congratulations, I'm pregnant with number 3, will be 7 weeks tomorrow. Idk about prep besides basic baby stuff. But I have been doing what I did with my daughter and been playing with baby dolls and teaching my son how to be gentle with baby ect. The struggle I had with going from 1 to 2 was finding the time for my daughter when establishing breastfeeding. My hubby was great and gave lots of his time and attention to our daughter but sometimes after feeds my hubby would take our son or tend to him if he stirred while sleeping so I could spend time with our daughter. Sometimes it was just having a shower with her or reading her a book before bed. During the day when hubby was at work I'd try playing with my daughter when my son slept or she would "help" me do nappy changes ect. But mostly she was very independent which helped. Although I'm nervous how I'm gonna break up my time with 3 of them especially durong early stages 😅 and my son isn't as independent as his sister and a big mummas boy.

We just had baby #2, we got our girl a baby doll when we found out we were pregnant with her brother. She carries around her baby and feeds, dresses, changes it’s nappy etc the whole pregnancy and now her brother is here she absolutely loves him and mimics what we do to him to her doll. She also loves to bring us nappies and wipes and his dummy etc

I made kissing baby sister (my belly) part of her night routine. She was 17 months when baby sister was born, so I didn’t expect her to understand anything that was going on but as soon as I told her this was baby sister when she was born, she kissed and hugged her just like she did my belly for 9 months. Baby sister is now 6 months old and big sister still kisses and hugs her every chance she gets! I think being consistent with something that ties into the idea of a new sibling really helps.
