I wanna do a gender reveal and baby shower but not sure how that’s going to work
I don’t have any close family or friends that are close and could even throw me a baby shower or help me by being the gender keeper to help plan a gender reveal
But I still want to have a baby shower and gender reveal with my friends and family
I don’t wanna miss out again because I just eloped already because I didn’t feel like I had enough people in my life since everyone I was close with had moved out of the state the past few yrs
I need advice how to at least make this work
I really want my first pregnancy and baby to be filled with special memories

I don’t want anyone to know the gender, I want it to be a proper surprise for family and plan it myself. Just have to go to shops to get the items etc and the person there can help if you show them the gender instead maybe.
I was in a similar situation. Ask the Sonographer to write down the gender and put it in a sealed envelope, that way no one knows the gender. Then give it to the cake maker, or the balloon filler, whatever u plan. That way everyone is suprised at the gender reveal and u dont need to worry about finding someone to keep the secret for you ☺️ As for the baby shower, i threw my own ☺️
I had all my friends and family vote from out of state and all my coworkers guess if I was having a boy or a girl. We found out the gender asap but make it a surprise for everyone else! We ended up taking a photo with a letter board with the baby’s gender and his name and sent it to friends and family and posted it to social media! It was a small gender reveal but it was fun to keep everyone else waiting after we found out :). It also made up for not having any friends or family where we live.
