Nap strikes 😭

So I’m 21 weeks tomorrow with my second and my little girl of 2y5 months’ sleep is all over the place. I tried limiting her nap, but today she just doesn’t want to nap at all - which is fine - but she’s also waking at 5am and generally it’s all a bit of a mess 😂 is anyone else going through this? She’s also really fussy too but was even before the sleep went south so not necessarily because she’s tired. Probably all developmental I know but when you’re 21 weeks pregnant it’s so hard 😭😭😭 please tell me I’m not alone 🙏

My little girls is doing the same and I'm at a loss

My LB is 2,5 next month and he dropped his nap at 18 months old. Since then he refuse to nap. He used to sleep through the night and everything but lately he wake at 5-5:30. Yesterday he went to bed 2 hrs later because of the trick or treat we been out longer but still woke up super early. Is it because of their age tho? Or because of winter? He is so tired 24/6 cries a lot oh and don't forget to mention the countless meltdowns🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

My little boy is 2y4 months and used to love his naps he now hates them but I know he still needs them so I let him have a little cry and he settles down and goes to sleep - he wakes up at 7ish every morning at the moment. I’ve heard sleep in the day helps them to sleep longer in the mornings as if they are overtired they won’t sleep long enough 😩

@Renata I reckon this is developmental, my little girl has been pretty good since 2 or just before, it’s just changed out of the blue when all the meltdowns started and she’s using more sentences and things so I’m sure it’s just her brain working overtime. It’s so tiring 😭 it’s good to hear lots of others having the same issues

@Ashleigh she literally refuses to let us leave the room or she screams for ages, she’ll occasionally cuddle til she falls asleep but even that didn’t work today. She’s absolutely shattered right now but won’t go so I’m just leaving her chilling and hoping for the best 😅
