@Karen look it’s different when it’s your kid vs teaching other peoples’ kids. Don’t beat yourself up about it so much. And yesss I hear you. It’s A LOTTTT! Have you done any work around emotional intelligence and building emotional resilience with your son?
Good question. I mean informally yes, we talk about feelings and stuff. But I def need to do more & read more about it.
It’s a struggle. The emotions are all over the place. The meanness towards me is unbelievable. It doesn’t help that there isn’t consistently between my household and his fathers house
It’s hard! It’s been hard. And I’m a preschool teacher! I should be better at this but there are just so many battles, tantrums, and nighttime wake ups. It’s amazing hearing all of my son’s thoughts and seeing his personality develop, but there’s just too much drama.
