3 miscarriages in a row💔

Hey, I’m so sorry to hear this. I have had two miscarriages in a row, both around 5 weeks. I have endometriosis so spoke to my specialist about whether my endo could be the reason. He said because we’ve managed to fall pregnant twice, it’s unlikely to be the case and we have just been unlucky. I pushed for blood tests and I’ve tested positive for APS, which is a blood clotting disorder which can cause miscarriages before 8 weeks. I’m waiting to test again in March as you have to test positive twice 12 weeks apart before they diagnose you with it and can give you anything to help. If you haven’t already, I would talk to your doctor about getting bloods done to rule anything out x

I haven’t had three in a row but I’ve had two, unfortunately they won’t do no testing for me. I wish we knew the reasons😩sending love to you ❤️

I never found the cause of mine but I suspect they were autoimmune related. For me, fourth time was the charm so there is hope!

@Allie Can I ask what autoimmune disease? That could be what I have going on.

I will pray for you too!! 🙏🏻 I have a question for you, if you feel comfortable answering it and it isn’t too insensitive. I have determined I just had a miscarriage at 5 weeks 1 day, but haven’t heard from the doctor yet. I had heavy bleeding with some clots on Monday for about an hour and it continued throughout the week, but never as heavy as that first hour. My hcg was still going up exponentially through the week so I thought maybe all was okay. This morning, however, I had more bad bleeding with clots including a clear-ish, gelatinous ball that I’ve determined was the sac and then a very large clot after that. Heavy bleeding with smaller clots continued for about an hour, but has since subsided a bit. Is this similar to what you experienced at 5 weeks? Again, I’m so sorry to ask, but I think we are going through the same thing. What a great Christmas! 😭😭

@Melinda I have Hashimoto’s and am In remission for late stage Lyme Disease. The one thing I changed the fourth time is taking LDN through my pregnancy to immune system regulation.

@Hannah thank you I’m going to ring drs this week and find out what they can offer to see what could be causing it!

@Melinda hi yes all 3 of my misscarriages have been slightly different if I’m honest, the first one was the heaviest and there was so many large clots straight away, the second was slightly more gradual, this third one was the only one that I felt pregnant my boobs were throbbing and tingling as I miscarried and then I felt something come out of me and instantly my boobs deflated, I went the toilet and there was abit of blood seemed abit more like mucus this time and then I passed a large clot on the toilet which resembled a fetus, that night bleeding was quite light but become very heavy next day. I had bad pains first miscarriage! Excruitating pains with the second miscarriage and almost just period type pain with the third!

Thanks for your response. I had an ultrasound this morning that confirmed it was a pregnancy loss! 😔 This is my first. Just so hard to go through! At least we’re not alone. I’ll be praying for you!
