8week old Swimming Largs

Hello Ayrshire mammas! I’m quite new to Largs, I have an 8week old wee girl and thinking of taking her swimming - has anyone used the Vikingar pool with their wee ones? If so, do you know if the baby pool temperature is ok for an 8week old? Also any advice - she’s my first and I’m slightly terrified that she will scream the place down when we come out the pool! 🫣

You can always phone and ask the temp of the water. The water in garnock kilbirnie is nice. They also do baby swimming lessons too

I haven't ever been there but a little tip... When I take my little man swimming (took him around 9 weeks the first time I'm sure) I take a hot water bottle with me. I wrap his clothes around the inside of the water bottle (inside the cover) so that his clothes are nice and warm when he gets dressed. I sit it at the side of the pool and wrap his towel around the outside of the water bottle. It can be quite a daunting experience, but honestly the tears don't ever last long. X

Bath time - I always put the heating on 20 mins before bath time. Towel on bathroom radiator and PJ's on bedroom radiator. It makes the change a little easier for us as he never gets too cold. Good luck! X
