4 week old stopped sleeping independently
My little girl is almost 5 weeks and until about a week ago she would sleep pretty well at night and during the day in her Moses basket, but now the majority of the time will only sleep being held and we are lucky to get an odd half hour/hour here and there now. Is it just a phase she’s going through wanting to be held more, or are there specific things we can/should be doing to help her sleep on her own?

I’m in this boat too!! Mine is 4 weeks old and will not sleep unless on my chest, he hates being swaddled but tonight I waited til he was already asleep and put him in an HB brand swaddle thing that Velcro’s and it’s fuzzy and he has been asleep for 5 hours with a feed and a change in between and he didn’t even wake up .

To my understanding, since she is only a month old her sleep pattern wont always stay the same. My son is 9 months and still doesn’t sleep thru the night every night. Its all about being on their time lol, it eventually stops when she gets old enough to adjust to a schedule, but with that every baby is different🫶🏾
