Baby Boy name uncertainty

Background; first time parents due in less then 4 weeks, sex of baby is unknown so we want to have a “boy name” and a “girl name” picked. (I LOVE our girl name.) When starting to discuss/pick, I showed my husband a list of names I liked and he picked out ones he also liked and we went from there. Well the boy name he liked the most was Henry, and I too loved it. Since then I’ve started to backtrack on Henry but I can’t put my finger on why. My husband still loves the name and it does have significant meaning to my family’s history. Ive mentioned to my husband that I’m not certain i love the name anymore and his response was less then enthusiastic to go back to the drawing board. If baby is a boy, we’d like the middle name to be Cooper (it has significant meaning to my husbands family). Any advice? Should we stick with Henry? Or do you have any other name suggestions? We love really classic/traditional sounding names. (We love Jack and Charlie but both were recently used by very close friends). I like names like Gavin, Colin, Adam, Myles for reference.

If you don't like any suggestions in the thread I would stick with Henry Cooper. Arthur Cooper George Cooper Fredrick Cooper Jacob Cooper Isaac Cooper

Some suggestions Harry Harrison Wesley Nolan Wyatt Fredrick Patrick Philip Garrett Connor Donovan Sometimes your child's name will come to you after you see them.

I agree that when you see baby, you will know if he is a Henry. 💙 Other ideas: Ayden Cooper Benjamin Cooper Calvin Cooper Christian Cooper Dillon Cooper Edward Cooper Gabriel Cooper Ivan Cooper Jameson Cooper Jared Cooper Joel Cooper Joseph Cooper Maxwell Cooper Owen Cooper Samuel Cooper Sullivan Cooper Thomas Cooper Tobias Cooper William Cooper Zachary Cooper

What about Cooper as a first, which sounds pretty modern and trendy to me personally. I like Henry, but personally, I would be fine never hearing it again as it is SO popular, so I would go back to the drawing board, especially if it doesn't feel 100%. For traditional names, what about James, Patrick, Daniel, Alexander, Michael, Caleb, Benjamin, Owen, Thomas, Leo, Calvin, Peter, Andrew, Gabriel, Nathaniel, Paul, or Samuel. For more modern names that still sound classic to me, what about Clayton, Dawson, Oliver, Finn, Jude, Tobias, Louis, Simon, Graham, Emmett, Bennet, Harvey, Kenneth, Hudson, Fletcher, Blake, Griffin, Chester, Shepherd, Cameron, Dean, Heath, or Joel?James Cooper Dean Cooper Myles Cooper Samuel Cooper Cooper James Cooper Dawson Cooper Graham. I know a little Cooper and he's adorable! GL

Personally I would stick with Henry. If you can’t place why you are turned off maybe it’s just cold feet. Backtracking could result in neither of you liking or agreeing on a boy name.

So names you may like... Henrik Cooper Emeric Cooper Otis Cooper Hugh Cooper Lincoln Copper Julius Cooper Albie Copper Rufus Copper Harris Cooper Jesse Cooper Owain Cooper Jasper Cooper Jonas Cooper

Would you be open to switching it up? How about Cooper Henry?
