I had a midwife but she delivered my daughter and took care of me after my birth. It was almost 3 years ago. 😊 I really liked her!

She was my OB when I delivered in April 2022, fantastic OB. Feel free to msg if you have questions.

@Edith thanks. Did you deliver at Mississauga hospital or credit valley?

@Sal Mississauga but she does go to Credit Valley, not sure if it's for special cases or?

@Edith how was your experience at Mississauga hospital?

@Sal Truthfully, the rooms are outdated but the staff were very kind. The birthing room nurses were amazing, I would not have survived my 3 day labor without them.

I had a horrible experience at the Mississauga hospital that resulted in an emergency C section. Honestly I would advise not to let them give you an epidural. If you do really want one, then I would advise to not let them give you the pitocin (synthetic oxytocin) because I am 99% sure that this cocktail of drugs is the reason for my c section. I looked at the drug information from the manufacturer, and it does say that a possible side effect is fetal heart rate decreasing... That's what happened to my baby so they had to cut me open. Honestly they pushed the epidural on me, they made me feel like I needed to get it. I wish I trusted my gut. Anyways, Dr. Chu was not my OB, but she did deliver my baby since they all rotate, you never know who you will get on your delivery day. One good thing I could say is that she did an amazing job cutting me open and stitching me back up. My family doctor said she has never seen such a nice scar. My family doctor said Dr. Chu is meticulous.
