Spotting at 23 weeks

Hi strong mamas! My best friend has complete previa. She is 23 weeks and has had spotting. How has your pregnancy journey been since your first spotting incident? I appreciate anything you can share. Wishing you and your family the best during this time ♥️

Hi! Complete previa with a bleed at 26 weeks here. It was accompanied with contractions so I was hospitalized for a bit and have been on modified bed rest since but everything has been stable since and doctors are happy with how things have healed and such. I’m 30 weeks now and will deliver via c section at 36 weeks. Hope your friend hangs in there!

Hi there! I have complete previa and had 4 different spotting incidents between 22 - 24 weeks. Each time, the bleeding seemed a little heavier than the last, but was similar to a light period day at most (no heavy bleeds or contractions). They hospitalized me for a little longer each subsequent bleed since it kept coming back, with the longest being a week and a half after my last bleed. Since then I've been doing my best to keep my activity level VERY low, and things have been going well! Almost 29 weeks now and my c-section is scheduled for 37 + 3 days :) I found that the mental battle is a huge part of the challenge but keeping my mind on the big picture/end goal makes it all worth it!! 💕
