Anyone had a maternity cover and felt like when you returned back to work people preferred them?
I’ve returned back to work now and all I keep hearing is how much of a loss it will be for my back cover to leave. I’m devastated. I worked so hard at my job for 4 years and hearing these comments back me feel so insecure when working, feeling like I’m not good enough.
Anyone dealt with anything similar?

I’m currently feeling in a similar way, my secondment basically knew she could keep the job even when I returned. I’ve only just start kit days and not returning till August. My job what it was before doesn’t exist anymore and they’ve come up with a new job but it’s nothing like before and I feel pushed out by my manager as I speak quite honest and openly like he doesn’t want to deal with that and wants an easy life. Annoyingly people from my old team all want me back as their manager and keep begging for me to come back!
