North Western or Advocate Illinois ?

Hi girls! Struggling to choose which hospital for giving birth… Everybody told me Prentice (North western) is the best, but Advocate is way closer. We’ve seen good OB/GYN in both… So I would like your feedback to help me choose !!! Thanks 🙏

I don’t know much about Advocate but I enjoyed my experience at Prentice. I loved my doctor so I think it depends which OB practice you want to deliver your baby.

I did love advocate! I think mainly because my son spent 3 weeks in their nicu and the drs + nurses were fantastic😄

Just don’t go to UIC they fractured my sons clavicle by delivering him with one hand and they have a long history of injuring babies at birth long term

I delivered my baby at Prentice but is also only a mile from where I live. I had a great delivery experience. Don’t know much about advocate.

Northwestern has the lowest rate for c sections. I was close to having one twice but my midwife team was awesome. It all happened so fast that I didn’t even know there was issues with her getting out. If I was at any other hospital i know for sure they would’ve cut me open right away.

@Dee thanks for the information ! That makes a huge difference !

Depends on when ch Advocate it is.

I Don’t know which advocate. But I love Illinois Advocate Masonic

I had a wonderful experience at Prentice but I’ve had friends deliver advocate Illinois Masonic who had good things to say. Go with a ob or midwife group you feel comfortable with. There will be good and bad at either place but hopefully you find the team that’s right for you.

@Yessica I second Illinois Advocate Masonic. They have great stats and the OB team that would handle delivery are all women and they've all been so great in appointments.

@Emily advocate Masonic, sorry!

Prentice- my OB was amazing

Prentice!

I finally went with Prentice!! Thanks everybody for your help 🙏☺️😉
