Endo Lap and IVF retrievals DOR
Has anyone had a lap and then gone on to have successful retrievals after having excision surgery with an excision specialist? But also have been pregnant before?
About me: started TTC at age 37. Got pregnant naturally had a loss at 13 weeks due to trisomy 13. Got pregnant again naturally loss at 8 1/2 weeks prob chromosomal. A chemical. Then five IVF retrievals. Had only one PGS tested embryo. Saved it and went for a day 3 frozen untested and had my sweet baby!
Went back for baby number two to use my tested embryo. Transferred last month and first beta 55. Then decreased and miscarried.
I just turned 41 and am starting over with retrievals.😭
I’ve had every test done and everything is fine other than low AMH and egg quality issues. I’m a candidate for surgery and just scared but looking for anyone that has similar stories. Worried it can lower egg reserve but also heard if you go to an excision specialist it helps.
Hey I’m 35 I have pcos, endometriosis and adenymosis. I had an egg collection in March but they were unable to retrieve because of endometriosis. They advised me to see a surgeon. I’m scared but I’m having drainage of endotrioma rather than excision as he said he could end up taking eggs too. I’m having it done in a few weeks. It may be that I need further surgery down the line. But he wants me to then have an egg collection at end of august. I have struggled with ibs symptoms and a bloated abdomen and he hopes it will help that too . The ivf consultant did say he could retrieve my eggs abdominals but they might as well help my symptoms while they are doing it. I had a natural pregnancy, my son is nearly 12! Hope you get sorted x
