Lubion in the hot weather

Hi all, my Lubion progesterone injections say to store below 25 degrees Celsius but not to refrigerate or freeze. It’s currently 25 degrees in my house and though it’s in a dark box I’m a bit worried and don’t know what to with it! I’ve put an ice pack in the box with it and will have to remember to change that. But just wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Thanks!

Could you put in a dark cupboard?

If you have concerns on storage conditions, I would contact your pharmacy! I left mine with my heat from my car blowing on it and they said there was clinical data to show it is stable for quite a large range of temperatures 🙂

Thanks Megan that is helpful. I’m sure the temperature can go a lot hotter temporarily than they suggest on the pack. I will contact my pharmacy though

Hi Lucie, I haven’t managed to contact the pharmacy yet but I’m currently keeping them in a box with an ice pack in that I’m swapping a few times a day.

@Lucie hi Lucie, I didn’t in the end as a few people had said to me that when they had asked theirs before they said it should be ok. I’m keeping most of mine in the fridge except for the one that says ‘do not refrigerate’ and I’m keeping that in a box with an ice pack that I swap out. My house is currently only getting to 25 max though I imagine next week may be hotter.
