OB-gyn

The one I wanted is full :( I'm almost 14 weeks and I need to figure out who is going to be taking care of me as I'm now literally freaking out stressed Please recommend and let me know specific experiences. I have had horrible experience in the past with Dr Rububaza (gave internal exam without a woman present) and Dr. Charilalyiam (ovarian cystectomy that complicated, denied it was causing me issue, room had used bloody speculum in it) So please give me your best recommendations:(

Hi Gillian, my OBGYN is in Sunnybrook hospital. it’s far but he is ranked amongst the best doctors in Toronto. Meanwhile what about what starting with a midwife in Oshawa?

Dr. Mutungi. I was with the Oshawa midwives for my whole pregnancy. At 35 weeks we learned my baby was breech and my care needed to be transferred to a doctor. I met with Dr. Leung and she was great. At that time there was no c section appointments available so I was out on a surgery wait list. However, after leaving her office I received a call that a spot opened the next morning but would be with Dr. Mutungi. She was amazing. She came and met with me and my husband before the c section. She explained everything. She was amazing during the birth. My incision looked almost healed two day after the surgery. She followed up with me 6 weeks later and she again was very lovely. In January, a skin tag I developed during pregnancy for enlarged and sore and I called her on a Tuesday and she saw me on the Thursday to remove it. If we have another child, we will be using her again for the c section.

@Spina I'm not interested in midwives

Dr. Mutungi is amazing - best OB around! I had a little hiccup and was asked to go to the hospital to meet her at 7:40 pm one evening - she was off shift at 8 pm. Although I was to be seen by another OB she stayed until we got there just to make sure I was okay. Such an amazing person and even better OB

Hi, Dr. Tauseef was my ob-gyn and she was amazing.

Hi, do not use Dr Tauseef she rushes through appointments I guess this is because she has a full roster. During my first pregnancy she missed asking me to go for a glucose test and I wasn’t aware and also missed the fact that my baby was underweight.
