Wait it out with omeprazole or switch to anti reflux formula?

My 12 week old baby has been on aptamil since birth and never had any issues. Up until a week and a half ago she was always a good feeder, was sometimes a little bit dribbley/slightly sicky after a big feed but otherwise great. Over the last 10 days or so she’s all of a sudden being sick a lot after every single feed. She’s also taking less milk to start with than she was prior to this. The doctor prescribed omeprazole which we started yesterday but I’ve read that this doesn’t actually eliminate/reduce the sickness, just makes it more comfortable for baby when bringing the sick up. I’m wondering whether omeprazole is the right thing for this and whether to wait it out and try the omeprazole for a full two weeks to see if it improves or just switch to aptamil anti reflux formula. Or should I use both at the same time? If I did switch to aptamil anti reflux formula, are mam size 2 teats ok or is the formula too thick for mam size 2s? Thanks

With my older daughter I used both omeprazole and anti reflux milk at the same time and it helped massively. She was fine with the size 2 teats but know every baby is different x

@Ashleigh thank you!

i BF but switched mainly to expressing so we could add infant gaviscon to the bottles, honestly a game changer. the GP should also give you lactulose (which is a natural type of sugar not an actual drug) which will help should your LO get constipated. We tried everything before, omeprazole, carobel etc.
