Big baby clothes/ diaper size issues

Does anyone else have a big baby? My 9 month old is already wearing 24m clothing. After 24 months there are no more onesies/body suits available, it’s only 2 pieces (2T and up) bc technically they should be potty training then. But she’s still an infant and not ready for 2 pieces. What will I do when she out grows 24ms? Anyone in the same boat? Also, she’s wearing size 6 diapers already. Thank god there are some brands that go up to size 7 but after that it’s all pull ups. Do I switch to pull ups if she outgrows the diaper sizes available?

On the clothing front, my baby wears two pieces all the time, sometimes it’s easier than a onesie. Shorts and a shirt bc it’s hot this summer! Definitely not even thinking about potty training yet 😅😂

How big is ur baby

My first daughter was very big and was in the same situation. I was sad because she was into the toddler sizes so quickly. I prefer not to put my kids in onesies once they become more mobile. It’s so hard to change them when they are running away during the diaper changes. 😂 we are potty training my 2 year old now and she was in size 6 diapers at the same age as your child. She stayed in size 6 and they still fit now. I was worried but her growth slowed down. She is just a big kid. She is wearing 4T at 2 years old. I was thinking we wouldn’t be able to find diapers for her and then she maintained that size.

@Kim hi thank you for this! This make me feel better 😌 I’m glad that her growth will slow down bc it’s actually scary how fast she’s been growing! I had clothes for up to 12m when she was born, thinking I would have a year until until I had to figure out the rest. But nope! She was wearing size 12 by 5 months!! I was slightly panicking trying to get more clothes. As for the diapers, she has been wearing this size for awhile so I thinking/ hoping she will maintain the size.

@Julie Meshell At her 9m check up she weighed 25.8 pounds and measured 32 inches. Fits into 24m perfectly

@Sara Ive had her in short sleeve rompers most of the time this summer. She overhears like crazy so that’s been working. If I do put her in 2 piece it’s a long shirt that kinda looks like a dress with shorts. If it’s not long the shirt rides up and her belly is out. Which is not a big deal but she’s not fully crawling. Mostly army crawling so I don’t want her belly out while she dragging her self.

@Mhyra her belly is out in a 2 piece. Body suits prevent that. Its not a big deal but she’s not fully crawling. Mostly army crawling so I don’t want her belly out while she dragging her self. Also toddler clothing are shaped differently. Bottoms are smaller (no need to have room for a diaper) and are slimmer and longer. Infant clothes almost always have the clips on the bottom and have more room in the diaper area. For shorts in toddler clothes sizes maybe baby girl fits a 4t comfortably!

@Sara Also a 2 piece in infant clothing works fine but in toddler size the shape is different. The shirts aren’t as long so it rides up all the time and the shorts don’t have as room or shape to fit a diaper as well as infant clothing

2 pieces are no issue. My baby has worn some 2 piece outfits from start. Going to pull ups when needed to will be fine. Just make sure you get ones that are actually absorbant
