I usually just say a prayer in the moment if someone asks me to pray for them. The people I pray for habitually are just loved ones I know who are struggling usually who haven’t specifically asked for prayers. I come from a Protestant background so most of my prayers are ad-libbed but occasionally I will add an Our Father or Hail Mary in at the end as well.
That being said if I can request any prayers from my prayer warrior mamas, my 85 year old father who has dementia just went into have major abdomen surgery for a perforated ulcer. I’m 39 weeks pregnant and the timing is just unreal. I know Gods got us but any prayers are greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
🙏🙏🙏
Thank you, Dana Yikes Shannon! I'm so sorry he's going through that. May God guide the surgeon and be with him in recovery. And may He be with you when you deliver! Prayers for an easy delivery 💕
Thank you both 🙏🙏🙏
I add them to my mental “basket” and say a memorare for “the people in my basket today” every night. If it’s via text I just say an Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be right then and there
I actually pray. At that exact moment. Otherwise I forget to.
I asked God to help that person how they need itgive them peace, comfort, strength etc. Then say A Hail Mary.
I have a list and offer my daily rosary for everyone on it. If it's something really serious or urgent, I usually also do an Our Father, Hail Mary, and Glory Be right then.
