PPA

I had no anxiety or anything ever…until my 3rd was born. About 3 weeks after he was born I just got this rush or lightheadedness and just heart racing and it was horrific. I’ve tried taking anxiety meds (nearly 2 years later) and they don’t really seem to be doing much. Any advice?🤷🏻‍♀️

Gut health! I eat sourkraut everyday to get good probiotics in my tummy! Magnesium also helps I take one before bed each night. I have had anxiety in years.

I had this happen to me recently, I didn’t show any signs of ppa or depression and it all just hit me like a ton of bricks one day. I’m not saying these things don’t exist but diet plays a big part into it and you might be deficient in a vitamin that is causing these episodes. The best diet to keep anxiety and depression at bay is steak, beef, (grass fed if possible), eggs, dairy, salted fruits and honey. When I had really bad anxiety and felt depressed I realized I didn’t eat properly that day and going back on track with my diet gave me a boost in energy and I have not had panic attacks since. I would go to a primary care doc to get blood work to see if your levels are where they should be. Also maca root is amazing for anxiety and energy, in capsule form or powdered to put in coffee or smoothies. I hope this helps!
