To be honest, ours could have been via video call. All the HV did was talk to us about her development. We have medical issues, so we are regularly weighted and get height checks at our children's hospital, so our HV didn't even do that. If you wanted height and weight checking, you could call up the HV to book it in. I've had to do this when getting repeat prescriptions between appointments as the doseage was weight sensitive. Xx
They just ask u what ur toddler can/can’t do. Our appt was in person but she didn’t actually do anything with my daughter. She just spoke to me. No height/weight check or anything.
Our appointment was in person but she watched him play and interact with toys and another HV who was in the room, and she also had a listen to his speech as he was speech delayed. Height and weight wasn’t measured there, he’s actually never had his height measured. We filled out two ages and stages questionnaires and went through them whilst there too.
Ours was in person but apart from her trying to get him to say cat, she didn't really interact much with him. It was more going through the questionnaire. He wasn't weighed or height checked
Thanks for replies. Was offered face 2 face end of November so I just declined it all. I’ve filled the questionnaire with no concerns, so from what’s you’ve all said, it seems a bit pointless anyway 🤷🏽♀️
I haven’t even had a leaflet lol heard nothing!
@Amy same we haven’t heard a thing yet 🤦♀️
You'll be asked to fill out the ages and stages questionnaires and the hv will just go over your answers with you. Disappointed it's not fave to face, mine was and involved weight and height too.
