Tantrums! Tell me I'm not alone 😅

My LG has been having the worst tantrums during the las week. She would kick off for any tiny thing and throw herself on the floor, screaming and kicking for about 10min even sometimes 🙄 anyone else going through this? It is so exhausting

I was just asking something similar in another group trying to find out if this was normal!! My little girl (also jan 22 baby) is doing the same thing, will literally throw herself on the floor because I’ve put a jacket on her, will scream at me and chuck things in frustration, kicks me even during nappy change etc. I’m actually scared of her behaviour 😭

Yes!! My lb has become soo awful at it and fighting any sleep it has honestly become awful 😢

Yeah! Really bad tantrums for a while. He phases in and out of it, so his behaviour is getting better at the moment. Must be the terrible 2’s early

Yep currently having a meltdown over who knows what doesn't want breakfast, doesn't want milk, doesn't want cuddles just screaming mummy and crying and slapping me every time I go near him 😳

I’m not sure if this will help any of you but it’s worth sharing - I heard at this age our kids are finally gaining their sense of autonomy and independence and they want a lot of control, so by offering choices and options helps them feel a little in control. For example my little girl wouldn’t put on the socks i had for her in the morning she said “no” and so I got out all her socks and said “you choose which socks you want” she chose and happily let me put them on her! It might work sometimes xx

@Munaza totally agree with this, we use this tactic all the time and it normally works!
