16 month old’s bedroom is also my home office.

My 16 month old has been in her own room for the past 5 months or so. This room is also my office. The older she gets, the more fearful I am that she will climb out into an unsafe area. The longer term solution is for her to share a room with our eldest (3.5) but she’s not a great sleeper so it wouldn’t be fair to 3.5 year old. Any suggestions on how I make make the room safe? I was thinking the only real way would be to partition the room either with a baby gate of some sort or a permanent partition. Has anyone used a partition to separate out their office from a child’s space?
