Nappy rash!! Baby been screaming in pain all day

Anyone got a trick for nappy rash? My baby is teething so bad and has the most sore rash on he’s bum he won’t sit down won’t let us hold him or touch near the area and never heard him scream and cry so bad!! Feel so bad for the little man ive been changing him every hour and putting LOADS of Sudo crème on and calpol is there anything I can do to help take the pain away from him? Or to heal the rash quicker he’s currently sleeping but when I changed his nappy he woke up screaming crying again and clinging on to me for he’s life 😣😣😣

I say bum it’s actually over his balls and at the sides next to he’s sack not bum area but looks super sore

Sudo creme burns it make it worse I use baby power

I found the yellow metanium cream cleared up my boy’s rash really well, I use sudocreme routinely for his nappy changes but this teething rash was horrific and the metanium was great

Metanium!!! It’s so good

The canestan cream works a dream like @Lana said. Looks like the thrush cream but says nappy rash on, treats really nasty cases. I think I had to get mine over the counter at boots x

I use metanium when really bad. I’d keep up the regular changes and put cream on each time. Also a warm bath of just water and nappy free time if you’re feeling brave!

Poor little lamb 😔 when our LG had it really bad in the early days, sudocrem, using only water rather than wipes & loads of nappy free time worked for us. We did try bepanthan, metanium & something prescribed by the doctor but they didn’t work for us. I think it’s a case of finding the right nappy cream that works for your LO though that’s hard when it’s so sore. Might be a bit messier now the kiddos are older but nappy free time is great to help get air to it x

My lb had it really bad and absolutely nothing worked when bathing him he would scream so we did cooler baths for him and it was a lot better, as nothing worked and he wouldn’t let us wipe it we called 111 as it was a weekend and they priscribed a cream which worked wonders x

When my daughters was really bad I ended up getting a steroid cream prescribed from the GP it cleared it up really quickly.

Metanium!

Try metanium. The yellow one. If that doesn’t work get gp to prescribe something, we had to have hydrocortisone cream to solve it recently. Dr suggested Vaseline as a barrier rather than sudocreme. .
