Natural Breech Delivery 2TM

I posted a few weeks ago hoping for a vaginal delivery. I just wanted to share my experience for anyone who isn’t sure what to do. My baby girl was complete breech with feet and bum down towards my pelvis. I managed to deliver her naturally in hospital. I did not have to be cut or receive stitches afterwards. My labour was in total 2 hours and 23 minutes. She came early at 38+4. My waters went first and contractions started afterwards. Her bum came out first then feet. My baby is completely fine and healthy no complications so far and we were allowed home on the same day. It was a really positive experience but very different to my first borns delivery. But totally possible! Hope this helps anyone searching for answers on what to choose. X

@IzzieE Yasss queen 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 congrats mama 🥹 I’m so so happy it all worked out for you 😭❤️

Wow I’m so happy for you! My now 1.5yo was frank breech too. I think I was too risk averse and scared as a FTM to look into natural delivery. Wish I had!

@Bella thank you!! Hope all ok with you? X

I’m in a Frank breech and would love to have a vaginal delivery, but unfortunately the hospital I’m at doesn’t do them at all. I wish they did. I’m 39 weeks today so out of time to find somewhere else.

@IzzieE It’s wonderful! My little man was born Halloween head first at 9lbs 10oz 🥰❤️

@Alison I asked my doc the same before I got my ECV.. they said they wouldn’t do it… if you decline a section they cannot force you until it’s life or death for you or baby. So they’d have to either deliver you naturally, or transfer you somewhere that can… Or you can wait till your in active labor to go in so they have literally no choice 😅 it depends on if you think your body can handle breech vaginally. I did a million tons of research, it’s not as dangerous as everyone says. It does have its risks, but ALL labor comes with risks. most hospitals also don’t do VBAC so… take that into consideration too. I wish you the best darling! ❤️

@Alison I think when your first time mum it is advised against due to not knowing the capabilities of your body in labour yet. But it is ultimately you’re choice! Trust the process and trust your body x

Amazing !! Congratulations and well done mamma 🥰 I have a very similar story that I will post also..

@IzzieE was there anything you did to encourage a spontaneous labor? I’ve been told I can have a VBB but only if I go into labor before 41 weeks, after that they want me to book a c section. I’m 37+1 and wondering whether to start trying all the tricks like dates and raspberry leaf tea etc to encourage natural labor? Thanks ☺️

@Molly Sorry for late response! Yes actually on the evening before we went for a long dog walk and did the most successful encouragement sex!
