ADHD

Just curious to know what were the first signs when you noticed you child may have ADHD. What symptoms did they show and how old were they when you fist noticed. I think my LO may have it but some of the behaviours match. I know every child is different of course but just need some reassurance.

Hi we noticed it when our son was 3years old he was hitting out & it was just the way he was acting, he struggles to concentrate at school can’t focus, he is impulsive & gets angry when things don’t go his way so lashes out. His teacher has told us at parents evening tonight he has traits of autism as well as adhd, her son has autism as well.

2 and half but I knew there was something different long before that age. Didn't get a diagnosis until 5 though.

My daughter was around 2 when I noticed. Her meltdowns just seemed abnormal. She had noise sensitivity and light sensitivity. Also she had meltdowns when I would take her out. She had noise sensitivity since she was born, but it wasnt until she was 2 that I started piecing the pieces together. She also had sleep issues no matter what I tried
