Has anybody experienced this before?

I can't work out if it's milk spots, baby acne, or what?

Did it clear up by itself ?, xx

It looks like acne but there’s a chicken pox out break so go to a walk in centre if worried it might be that as under 3 months with chicken pox need to be seen

Awe his cute mama your doing great he don't look like his in pain us mom's worry we just want the best for are children if his temperature is normal 37 or lower his fine and his eating good if things change take him hospital lots of love to you both x

CONTINUED....... You can also use just the water with nothing in.. I’m now at 7weeks old & it’s cleared up but does get the occasional outbreak but I repeat the water everyday.. it’s helping currently with the hot weather as it’s refreshing.. Don’t use wet wipes on the face.. It’s basically their hormones developing & causes an outbreak in the skin If you want to be safe than sorry get an appointment with the GP or go to a pharmacy as they were great with me I’m now dealing with heat rash 🙈 I went out yesterday with his face beautiful & clear but within an hour of being out his poor little face.. you just feel for them.. Also you will get some dick head people make comments out in public just ignore them as hard as it is.. I had a woman in the fruit & veg shop go “awww how cute, oh look at the rash” while she made a face I could have slapped her LOL

Hi, It’s baby acne.. My little one got it when he was around 3/4weeks old. It started out with a couple & before I knew it he face/ head & neck was covered so I panicked plus I’m a first time mum I had anything& everything going through my head..I made an emergency appointment with the GP & it was confirmed BABY ACNE.. What the GP recommended was putting a moisturiser on it but didn’t advise which one she was actually not very helpful & quite rude basically telling me that I was a first time mum that had over reacted (in so many words)..cheers!!! I thought it was strange “advice” as you don’t put an oil based moisturiser on a rash I went to the pharmacist who confirmed this (BAD ADVICE MRS GP) & they were great so helpful They recommended Avenno gentle baby wash (or something similar) place a little bit in sterilised/boiled water & just gently wipe over the face with cotton balls changing the balls every handle of wipes ( I use about 4-6) & do this a few times a day will calm it down eventually

Go to a walk-in centre . They work on Saturady and sunday as well . you dont need an appointment. just walk in ,wait and a gp will see you .

My baby also had a similar Rash; the photo is a little Unclear so hard to see properly , some of them had a little White pimple , when I showed my midwife she just pressed on the rash and dots and said they were fine because the pimples disappeared when pressed on, if you press on the pimples and they do not fade then it could be more serious. Also your breast milk tends to help clear a lot of things up xx

My baby had the same on her face, it was baby acne. Anything I put on her skin made it worse, so in the end I put nothing on and it cleared up itself in a few weeks.

Milk spots are same thing as baby acne. Obviously we can't be sure from a picture and not medical professionals. But if it makes you feel better looks just like my Samuel's baby acne, which he's had since few days after birth and still a bit now at seven weeks. Don't need to do anything. It should go away on it's own. But of course still go to your appointment on Monday if you're not sure.

Looks like baby acne my little one had it when he was that age he was born in July so was really hot time of year for him too

My little boy had it since birth and he is now six weeks old. I did go to the doctors and he said it was erythema toxicum and nothing to worry about. But I believe it’s more heat rash and it’s very much up and down with the weather and does calm down after a bath

My Daughter has this, not quite to this extent but it turns out it was a mixture of heat rash and Johnson’s baby bath

Mine has the same and she is nearly 7 weeks

Hi Sophie it mite be nothing to worry about looks like milk rash but with babies you can't take chances i went doctors with my boys for the eczema he looked at both of them and said they are fine later that day my 10 month had a rash in my heart something said pack his bag I went to A+E it got worse this was last month it turned out to be a viral infection but his well now if you want peace of mind go hospital better to be safe

My little one had small harsh red spots too. I rubbed breastmilk on them for a week. I started noticing a difference in a few days though. Hope this helps x

Could be heat rash too. Keep an eye on it and call 111 again if your worried. Always best to reassure your mind 💗

My little girl has had this since she was 4 weeks old (now 6 weeks), the GP said they were milk spots (millia) and that it should clear up by itself. They do get worse though when she gets hot and bothered so not sure if it’s mixed up with a bit of heat rash too.

If it is baby acne, my little one had it for a week or so. We just left it alone, stopped using even Johnson's in her bath just in case that aggregated it and it cleared up perfectly

Yeah looks like milk spot and maybe if she got hot

Baby acne ??

Mine has this at the moment x

I think it's a heat rash.. if it is, it should go away after 3-4 days. Hopefully she get better soon, take care xx

So long as you’ve done the glass test? I wouldn’t worry could be either milk spots or baby acne - mine had the same at around that age - it’s when our hormones leave their system. She’s lovely btw x

Aw thank you! 😊 yes I have done the glass test which definitely has eased my mind! Did it take long for it to go on your little one? Xx

I think it lasted around a month or so :(

My little one had milk spots like this, my midwife said it’s a sign that her immune system is working and they will clear up on their own. But if she has a temperature or any other symptoms I would get medical advice.
