My sons cheeks do this with teething

My sons cheeks are red today also. I'm thinking it could be early stages of teething 🙈

I'd say defiantly teething x

@Jessica they can get the red cheeks on and off as they are erupting, now they have cut the gum they shouldn't hurt him, my first started teething at 9 weeks and had red cheeks on and off till they where all through x

@Niamh okay great thank you I thought I’d ask because my mum scared me about something called slapped cheek something I don’t know what it is but doesn’t sound good 😂

@Jessica slapped cheek is common in children especially soft play ages, with that your unwell first a fever or stomach upset and then get a rash on one or both cheeks it's more of a bumpy rash red cheek, teething red cheek is soft and not raised or bumpy literally just red, anbesol liquid is good for teething you just rub it on the gums, it looks like teething to me rather than slapped cheek don't worry 😂 x

@Niamh thanks hahaha 😂 anbesol Is for 5 months my baby is only 3 months he’s 4 months on the 5th 😕

Oh ye forgot about that we used it for our first at 6 months when thr dentist recommended it, the teething sachets and gel helped a bit before that tho x
