Any I overheating baby?? Help!

My little one (5 mo) has hit the regression pretty hard back in October and has been consistently waking at least every 1.5 hours, sometimes 2 hours max. Yay for me. The last few nights when I’ve been putting her back down and she’s been particularly fussy (kicking and commando crawling then crying less than 30m later), I’ve decided to switch off the fan just to change an environmental factor and see how that goes. To my surprise, and idk if it’s a coincidence or not, but when I’ve done this she’s settled well and gotten a little better sleep afterward for the next stretch. Tonight it’s 20°c overnight. We’ve had the AC on all day so I decided to leave it on at 24°c. Bubs is wearing a thin long sleeve clippy bodysuit and a 0.2 tog sleep sack. She’s currently on 5 hours of sleep!!! It’s a miracle. I just woke up dazed because I feel I’ve had too much sleep lol. But now I’m worried I’m overheating her and that’s why she’s sleeping well?? I turned the AC down to 23°c and the fan on the lowest setting just out of paranoia…. But if she’s sleeping better in the warmer temps, is it bad for me to keep the room that way? Sincerely, a very tired mum that wants to sleep for these longer stretches… but also a slightly anxious mum that wants what’s best for baby above all else 💗 [pfa snug as a bub app telling me 24 is too warm]

Sounds like an app to delete to me to help reduce your anxiety. Bub will tell you if she’s too warm and you can always feel the back of her next to check. 16-20 sounds freezing to me. I’d want to sleep in a warmer room than that so maybe you figured out how to help her sleep! Also we don’t have AC in my bubs room and our monitor often says it’s around 27-28. Sometimes even creeps up higher. Luckily fans don’t bother her cause I have 2 on her. There’s so much to stress about as a mum I personally don’t think you need to on this one. Good luck with the sleep

I think if the room is warmer just make sure bub is dressed lighter.

To me that sounds like a lot to have one of its 20c in the room. My baby is 5 months and I’d just have him in a singlet and short sleeve onesie and blanket over him and he is always a good temperature when I check. Babies will wake when they are to cold but not when they are to hot.

My little girl sleeps better when warm too.. I have a single onie and sleeping bag on her and I have fan going in room.. note I do have the fan pointing away from her aswell..
