Feeling guilty.
I filed a Temporary protection order against my daughters dad. To protect us because he’s been violent before a few times, it was granted. We go to court in a month..I feel so guilty bc he’s going to miss Christmas with our daughter and she’s going to ask for him.he begged me not to get a restraining order and that within the course of a day he’s a changed man, and wants to show me. Im sorry but I can’t…..I can’t go through him getting loud and throwing things and threatening to hurt himself if Im not with him..I’m trying to move past all of this.

sounds like you did the correct thing your daughter will thank you when she gets older and understand why you did the things you do! keep protecting your family it will all be okay you could always do a phone call
if that’s allowed make sure it is first so you don’t get into trouble trying to contact him! after filing it
