My baby has a cough

My 10 week old little girl has such a nasty cough, she caught it off her older brotherš¤¦š¼āāļøApart from calpol is there anything else I can give her, sheās been up all night and is screaming every time she coughsš¢

Hope she feels better soon šš I am in the same situation the last 5 days my son has had such a nasty cough. So horrible seeing them poorly at this age š„¹
Double check the bottle but Iām 99% sure that boots kids cough syrup doesnāt actually have any medicine in it and is just a sugar syrup that coats and soothes the throat, I used to give it to my older kids canāt remember what age tho

Unfortunately, not without a doctors opinion. I tried asking a pharmacist about calcough, but that's from 3 months, and she said she could not give her opinion as she isn't allowed, only a doctor can do that. However, my husband was adamant, just lowering the dose would be ok as they calpol is 2 months, yet they say to give it at the 6-8 weeks jabs which is before there 2 months old but in the end, we didn't. I would probably see if you can get a doctors opinion. It is so annoying that everything else is from 3 months+. Hope your little one is better soon!
