Oh I’ve also took my friend’s advice to switch diaper to Coterie
have you tried desitin? my husbands family swore by it, so we use it. the purple extra strength one made quick work of the onky diaper rash my daughter had had so far. to help prevent we put it on overnight (the light blue daily defense one).
I also struggled with my 5 month old since he also had diarrhea because he was teething. The ONLY thing that worked for me was resinol on his bum and petroleum jelly on the diaper , a little goes a long way. He was also bleeding and the resinol relieved it hours after I used it. I swear by it!
@Jay see I use to use desitin with my other daughter and the doctor told me it’s not the best rash cream since the formula hasn’t been changed in years. So I stopped using it ever since
@Lissbeth I’ll definitely try that soon
My 5 month old had this problem for a couple weeks as well. I tried to only use a warm washcloth to wipe him instead of wipes because the wipes seemed to irritate the raw skin. After each diaper change, I would let him air dry for a bit, then put on either a cloth diaper or something really absorbent like pampers. And then what really made a huge difference was when I cut out zinc oxide. I know you said you tried a+d cream but I’m not sure if you’ve tried a+d ointment with no zinc oxide. I only tried it because I found conflicting articles. Some would say zinc oxide can help with minor cuts and others would say never to put it on broken skin. Either way, trying one without it is what ended up helping him
As previously mentioned. Instead of wipes, use a warm washcloth and put Vaseline or an ointment. The cream doesn’t help. Letting the baby air out helps a lot. You may have to switch diapers.
Stop using wet wipes and us dry wipes. Spray her bum with water and wipe with dry wipes until her rash calms down. Also, rub unrefined coconut oil on her bum. It’ll work like a charm and give her instant relief.
And yes, you may also have to switch diapers
Coconut oil does wonderful
I realized the diaper tash my baby was getting was from the wipes, i switched to cloth wipes and water and havent had any rash since
This might sound weird, but fry flour!! Then put it on after wiping them clean.. works real quick
@Maurissa I tried that and it worked!! I was so shocked..
I use triple paste and had to switch brands of diapers

Alright thank you guys for all the tips. I will definitely try the flour n air it method. I usually don’t use wipes at all, I wash her everytime I change her diaper. I might also have to switch diapers.
Try switching to powder instead of creams. My daughter also had what I thought was a Diapper rash, and as soon as I switched to powder it went away. Creams was keeping her moist at all times and it wouldn’t allow it to go away.
Aquaphor healing ointment! My son had a horrible one where he even started bleeding...it healed within 2 days!!!!
Might try some washable diapers for a little ny son became allergic out of no where and would literally break out in hives you can Try some benadryl cream also lost of warm baths will help
Olive oil! & maybe switch wipes and diapers. I use coterie or kudos wipes and diapers.
@Baby k i switched to cloth wipes while still using disposable diapers and it changed the game for us, switching to cloth diapers was the best decision ive made 100/10 recommend
Desitin works for my son and I use it just once a day. I also use dry wipe whenever possible(I wet it with water)
