Fever
How is everyone dealing with their baby’s fever? Mine has been at 38-39 since the day before yesterday we’ve been hospital but that’s just more of a headache only ended up giving her paracetamol which I can give at home also, but is there anything else I can do to bring her temp down, she’s only in a nappy and she refusing to drink or eat as much as she normally does but when mentioned to the doctors they said it’s okay.
I’m just worried for my girl, she has a little cough and a bit of a runny nose so she could have something but she’s also teething and she’s quite bad with teeth.
I guess I’ll do anything to comfort her but I’m not sure what with?

When mine had temp for 3 days I just alternated between calpol and nurofen, she was off her milk and solids but having wet nappies so it was fine. It’s just one of those things, just ride it out she’ll get better eventually. I also let her just sleep when she wanted to which was a lot longer daytime naps than usual but she slept a lot better a night than she does when she’s well😂

I would just be mindful when they have a temperature, the nhs suggests not totally stripping them off to cool them. It can cause more problems! You can give neurofen alongside paracetamol too if you’re not already doing it x
