Cps Iowa taking babies for weed??

I live in a legal state and they constantly drug test me. I’ve heard that if the baby has it in its system or is showing signs or withdrawal when it’s born they will call cps. I wouldn’t risk it.
I live in CT , and my midwife told me because it’s legal im fine social workers come to visit anyways to make sure your fit enough as long as your not testing positive for hardcore drugs then you should be okay because some mommas use it for nausea and eating and for prenatal depression .
They don’t take them…they will drug test you during home visits. And they will visit every month or so til u pee clean or they don’t see a reason to keep visiting!
Cps in NC does… they recently started that…. I honestly feel like it’s just an excuse for them to keep kids in the system….
it’s been a few years but cps literally told my mom if she only had weed in her system they wouldn’t of taken us as kids but she did cocaine for a little I smoked while pregnant to help with eating and sleeping and they didn’t say or do anything he’s 2 now

I’ve heard stories of people who have given birth in SC have had their babies taken away bc of marijuana in the moms system and ig baby’s too at birth
I’m wondering the same thing!!!!!! I’m in Texas but if you have a prescription then is it fine?? I’ve been wondering… I’m pregnant and need to know if I gotta stop a few months early
