Weight gain

How much weight did everyone gain during the first trimester? I feel like my appetite has started to improve and my belly feels bigger but I'm not gaining weight. I need to because I am underweight as well

I dread to think what I’ve gained! First tri all about survival 😂 I suppose it doesn’t really matter as we will gain a lot more anyway haha

Hey! I haven't gained anything either but midwife said you don't have to gain anything in the first trimester! Xx

I went from 62kg to 65kg in my first trimester. My appetite is quite large. I eat 4/5 x a day but I try to stick to healthy options

My weight has been pretty consistent this 1st trimester. I haven’t gained nor lost weight

I've gained 3lbs so far, I gained a lot in my 1st trimester with my daughter but ending up losing it and more because of extreme heartburn so I'm not too worried as long as I'm eating good food.

3lbs so far

I didn’t start gaining weight until almost my second trimester.

Maybe 1 lb so far and I’m 12 weeks. I gained a lot more in the first trimester with my first pregnancy. If I had to guess it’s probably because I still have 10 extra lbs of baby weight from my first 🤣

There’s a chapter about in What to Expect that’s really helpful. If you gain “too much” due to nausea forcing you to eat starchy relief foods, you can just level it out with less aggressive weight gain in 2nd tri

Haven’t gained anything yet!

I've only gained 3lbs, but that's within my regular margin. Yesterday I weighed myself and it looked like I had lost weight only for it to be back this morning 🤷‍♀️ 0-5lbs gain for the first trimester is expected.

I'm the same, my appetite has increased but if anything I think I have lost weight. From what I understand as long as you are full and eating well it is not a cause for concern at this stage

I was 159lbs and now I’m 163lbs

I’ve been throwing up that much I actually loss weight 🤢
