How do you politely request NO CLOTHING at a baby shower?

My baby shower is in 2 weeks, and I am a former nanny. I just stopped working, and my former bosses are INCREDIBLE. They gave me literally 100s of outfits ranging from NB to 2 year old outfits, everything imaginable. I'm extremely grateful. I am blessed but cannot imagine receiving more clothing. I really would like to nudge my family and friends to not purchase clothes but rather things from my registry we truly need, like cloth diapers and consumables like shampoo and wipes. How would I go about asking/announcing that so as to not be rude?

I had individual conversations with people as they came up in the weeks leading up to the shower and just told them how much clothes we already had! I was just like “We have so many outfits for him already I’m hoping most people stick to the registry!” Lol i made it seem like i was talking about others but in reality i was asking that specific person not to bring clothes

I would just put it as a note on the invites.

I specified the clothing sizes we needed as I knew people were going to bring clothes anyway

I just put my registry on the invite and I didn’t have any clothes on my registry because I’m picky with what I wanted my son to wear. Surprisingly at my baby shower everyone got something from my registry and I ended up getting probably only 4 outfits. If you really don’t want clothes I’d just write it out on the invite or on your registry link etc… or write that you’d prefer for them to get you diapers and wipes instead of clothing

Awhh, awesome:) I'm a nanny and pregnant, currently heart ❤️ awesome, and my boss is giving a baby bouncer 😀 congratulations girl!!!
