@Molly yeah we combi feed but she's struggling to stay latched due to not being able to breathe properly bless her and its all abit of a hassle so not really a comforting experience at the moment for her x
We found the Calpol plug in thingy helped congestion
We got over a bad cold/bronch in the new year. Snuffle babe on chest and smear some on a muslin cloth. I would fold the muslin and put under babies head in the cot and tuck the edges in each side of the mattress and smear snuffle babe on the material left and right of baby’s head. That is hard to explain🤣 Also running the shower and sitting with baby in the steamy bathroom for 10/15 mins. Sterimar nasal spray every morning and night. Think that was all we done that I can remember x
Ok got the plug in and snuffle babe vapour rub ty ladies 🤞🙏 hope she gets over it fast
A few drops of Albus oil on clothes and baby vicks on the feet before bed. We also put onions on our babies feet and covered with socks for two hours a day. It really helped with congestion.
Things I used when my girl was poorly- Calpol plug in, calpol saline drops, snot sucker, snuffle babe vapour rub and snuffle babe bubble bath xx
Our little girl had this at 6 weeks! She was very snotty and looked like she was struggling to breathe but when we went to A&E her obs were all normal. Do you breastfeed? I just ended up having her on the boob most of the time for comfort x
