Worth a trip to John Lewis or Mama's and Papas to try out some prams. We wanted one that would do rural areas and were directed at 4 prams, Bugaboo, Uppababy, Nuna and icandy
I plan on getting the Nuna mixx, it seemed like the best all terrain one we tried but it is slightly more expensive than most
We went for the bugaboo fox 5 as it’s high performance all terrain
Silver cross reef :)
Depends what you're after, I'm looking for a proper outdoor off roader (I don't do town a lot!!), and hoping to use for running etc. I've narrowed it down to Mountain Buggy Terrain or the Thule Glide... but the Out and About Nipper seems to get really good reviews as well... I've heard all of the above are great for some proper offroading through some muddy woods with the dog etc. The Terrain and the Nipper seem to be ok for town as well, but the Terrain is narrower in this respect. I'm leaving towards Terrain personally as it has the ability to be adapted to take a carry cot and parent facing seat/car seat etc easier than the Out and About...
I was going to suggest the same as @Cat. Mountain buggy and out n about are great off road pushchairs. I got the joie versatrax with my first baby because we had a dog and that had great suspension and good wheels for managing with mud and it was a super reasonable price too!
We used to live in the countryside I found my normal travel system then too difficult to manoeuvre on mud, so as soon as my daughter could comfortably sit up forward facing I got a baby jogger city elite 2. Has been great she's nearly 2.5 now and there is still room for her to grow more into it. (I've got a second hand joie travel system to start off for new baby but will go back to the jogger once he's grown a bit)
Bugaboo fox is amazing! Live very rural and there’s nowhere that pram can’t go. It is one of the bigger ones though and pricey but for me it’s Ben so worth it
We’ve bought the mamas and papas Ocarro x
