I think you shouldn’t let people comments about your baby get to you as people will always talk. Chubby or not an healthy baby is an healthy baby, and this cute little bubba right here looks pretty healthy to me. Nothing to worry about mommy you are doing absolutely well
Have you taken him to the doctor or spoken to the health visitor about your concerns? As long as there are no underlying health issues, I don’t think you need to be too worried. Some kids are just smaller than others. As long as he’s putting on weight, eating, not showing any signs to be worried about then don’t worry! I had similar comments in my first born and it did upset me. But then if you think about us adults, we are all different sizes. Just that as babies is more’ noticeable’ but eventually the weight doesn’t matter. Don’t worry mama!
My girl is 6 months old and still in a couple of her 0-3 months ❤️ she’s also 2nd centile. All babies are different!
Awww he is just sooo adorable! I have an 18 week old and he's quite small, people are shocked he's his age as well lol. He's not a great drinker at times. But he is doing all the things your wee man is doing and I'm happy enough. My other boy was a milk guzzler and was a wee chub. They're all different ❤️

As long as he's following his growth curve you have nothing to worry about. I still get comments like this about my son now, he is almost 2 and still in 12-18 month clothing. He is thriving x
He's cute. I'm with the other ladies, as long as he grows on his growth curve, health care/gp not worried, eating well etc. Soo what if he's smaller than the other babies, he's loved, he's cute, he's happy. I know it's hard but try not to let them negative thoughts or others comments get to you. My lads huge 4 his age and I get the other end of the comments from people but I know he's awesome.
My second was full term and weighed 4LBS 5 OZ. She was only 39CM. Now she's 3Y 6M and is teeny tiny for her age. She's 87.5CM, 22 LBS in weight and wears 86/92 CM or 18-24M clothes. She isn't on the percentile chart at all and never was. I've always gotten comments about her size. In the beginning I would take it to heart but now I just say "sure not everyone can be big. Some of us need to be small 🤷♀️". Unless you've been told medically there's something to worry about the just enjoy your baby. They're only small for such a short time. Don't regret this time because you're worrying about what strangers think. IMO you don't see them again so why let them have a say of your baby
I still worry about my almost 2yo. His 10m old brother wears the same size nappies. Both of my boys are happy, healthy, eat really well and no concern to drs. I still get people comment on their differences but it doesn’t faze me as much as I know they’re both good. Your baby is beautiful and if drs aren’t worried and he’s eating well try not to let things worry you x
My 4 year old is only 28 pounds and 2’11”. I have a hard time with thinking he’s too small and not growing normal “speed” but as long as he’s growing that’s all that matters. My 8 month old is almost in the same size clothing. Every child is different and it helps to not compare even though i know it’s super hard! I still do it from time to time. Your baby is super handsome!
My baby was just like yours! Very small at the start and took a long time to get back to birth weight. Starting at 7 months we started beefing up out of no where! No everyone says he’s so big! I wouldn’t worry if the doctors aren’t worried.
My daughters didn’t really fill out till after 6 months when they started really eating solids. She jump from mostly 20 -40% to now 80-90 percentile in height and weight. My 2 month old is following her sister growth pattern since we have an app growth tracker. Each baby is so different so don’t stress out too much about it all. Yesterday we met a couple that also had 2 daughters each 2 weeks younger in age from the 20 month old and 2 month old. The couples kids weighed way more than our daughters and this may have bothered me before but I know this is just how they grow it doesn’t reflect on me as a parent.

Don’t worry about the numbers too much! I have a 1 year old who is still in 3-6 months clothes and a 7w old who is in 0-3/3-6m clothes so you can imagine how small my first is. I panicked for so long but as long as he is following his own growth chart steadily and is healthy, that’s all that matters! My 1 year old is currently being mistaken for a 6 month old baby so I totally get it!
My son had that to ask ur doctor about it but we was told to put baby creal in his milk

Some babies are just small my sisters friend has a tiny baby he’s turning 2 this year but last time I saw him early last year he looked soooo much younger than he is but his dad is a skinny short guy so his genes just passed to the baby. Don’t compare your baby to anyone else. Yeah their baby might be bigger but your baby is perfectly healthy and happy.
I had a similar issue when my daughter was this young. Her pediatrician at the time said that there is nothing to worry about that. I gave Lilly a boost when she was inside me, but that was not the curve. Lily wanted to follow. He told me that Lilly was following Lilly’s curve not anybody else’s and that he had no concern about her weight. Her pediatrician retired in December I have 2023 unfortunately, we loved him! I’m sure this is the same for your little boy he’s just petite like my daughter is, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
My 6.5 month old son just started fully in 3-6m clothes! Every baby is different and as long as your doctor doesn’t have any concerns, don’t worry mama! Some babies are just small🩵 you might start seeing more of a difference with starting solids, we are seeing them now! (Also started earlier than 6m)
My son’s 6 months and tall and skinny, he still fits 0-3 in most brands and he’s only a bigger size in the other brands because their 0-3 is too short for him. If the doctors never showed concern then he’s perfectly healthy, I would only be concerned about his weight if his development is delayed even then every baby grows differently.
Hey lovely do not worry! Contact your GP or health visitor. They can even prescribe formula that helps him gain a lot of weight xx My son is 15 months. One thing I’ve learned it try to ignore everyone in motherhood as in try not to compare otherwise you’ll go crazy . You are doing an amazing job! Contact health visitor / GP xx Some babies are different . I was a skinny baby and hey I am quite tall and still slim that just my built . My son is same x
I had comments like this. My son is 6months and still wears some 0-3 months stuff and is on the 9th centile. Unless medical profession are worried, I wouldn’t worry x
I’m a first time mum to a 5 week old so have no idea and no advice but you have such a gorgeous baby !!!!! He looks so happy and is so so beautiful! You should be so very proud (I’m sure you are) you are smashing it babe !
