Fold over Scratch Mitts

My LG has moved in to mostly 6-9 month sleepsuits now, but it seems that most brands stop including the built in scratch mitts at this point. Does anyone know where still includes them? I’ve found Mamas and Papas do, but their sizing comes up quite small so my LG is almost out of these already. She’s really not that tall, but she’s got some chunky legs!

I noticed that too! So annoying!

Does she still need them? We’ve found as long as we keep on top of his nails our LB is pretty much ok. We haven’t covered his hands overnight for maybe a month or so now x

George at asda have built in scratch mitts x

@Melissa we still use them mostly to keep her hands warm, as they seem to get quite cold at night. Hopefully as the weather warms up we won’t need them, but for now we still do!

Aaah fair enough. We love Frugi (linked below). Their quality is amazing. You can also pick up good condition second hand bits of theirs on eBay for a bit cheaper. I’ve just checked their website and on their babygrows specifically they have scratch mitts built in up to 12 months x https://www.welovefrugi.com/

We found the same but them someone mentioned not covering hands helps them soothe back / stay asleep as they stuck on thier hands or touch own face. With hands covered they can’t do this. So we stopped using them only a week or so ago, I was skeptical but LO has slept much better. His hands are cold, which was my concern but as long as thier body is warm then it’s ok

I get mine from Valerie Grace (I have a discount code of LAUR10 if it helps) but I have stopped using the mitts now anyway as hands and feet aren’t an indication of body temp and my baby seems to love exploring and soothing with her hands; I tried a dummy but she just spits it out 🙄🙄

@Gemma I didn’t know this but after reading your comment it makes sense! We had our boy in his first 6-9 months sleepsuit last night and for a few nights he’s been waking up every hour. He didn’t do this last night! Wondering now if it’s that which might have helped him!

We don't use them anymore. He's able to use his hands to self soothe and stays happier in the mornings cause he's able to play with his comforter xx

Sainsbury’s do x

@Sophie the ones I bought from Sainsbury’s didn’t. I bought the same sleepsuits in 3-6 and 6-9 and the 3-6 had fold overs, and the 6-9 didn’t 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh strange I bought some over Easter in 3-6 & 6-9 and they both did how strange x
