London IVF Clinic Experiences

Hello, I’ve just had an unsuccessful round of ICSI via the NHS & so now looking to go privately for a second round. Does anyone have experience with The Lister, Evewell Clinic & Create Fertility St Paul’s? For context I’m 37, 38 in July & we don’t have any frozen embryos & I’m keen to use PGTA testing for further rounds. Thank you!

I really liked London women’s clinic Harley St

Hey Sophie. Feel free to drop me a msg any time. I’m 39 and currently with create.

Hi, I did my nhs rounds with transfers outsourced to the london women’s clinic. Both of them were successful but ended in miscarriage. Now I have gone private I went to the lister. I am waiting for my pregnancy test but I don’t feel confident about this round. We went there because of their statistics but so far I’m not sure I am impressed. The waiting time is so long- you can sit there for an hour waiting as there are about 100 women being seen at the same time and I felt like a number. You see a different person every time so no one knows your history. I was hoping to feel more at ease but so far I don’t. They did well at thawing and re freezing our embryos for genetic testing - didn’t lose any - so that’s a plus. But they’ve put me on a natural cycle even though the last two were not and were successful - so far I’m not confident it’s worked so I’m a little frustrated. I actually wish I had stuck with the london women’s clinic as I felt more reassured there.

I had private treatment with the lister as we weren’t eligible for ivf on the nhs, my first cycle I got 4 frozen embryos - one of which is now 2 years old and the other is due to arrive in 3 weeks. I was under 35 when we went and we had ivf with icsi. I was impressed with my experience both times but equally don’t have anything to compare it to. Good luck x

Used create. Have a 14 month old on my third go. I miscarried first round, second unsuccessful and then we amended for third and was successful. I personally thought they were great.

Could not recommend Kings Fertility Clinic enough ♥️

@Amyee thank you, I’ll look into this one.

Hi! I’m currently about to start my first round of IVF with London Women’s clinic and they’ve been lovely. Super quick responses and took all of my tests from NHS (my appt kept getting delayed with NHS because I am 24 so not a priority so we went private). We work with Dr Brain and she really covers all of her bases to ensure that everything medical history wise is up to date and you personally are ok before you start. And they have multi round packages where you get a refund if you don’t use all the rounds which was my selling point!

I did nhs, Crgh and Evewell and Lister. I’d stay away from CRGH to the max. Awful admin team and didn’t feel heard, didn’t get on with the doc, but they could send you an invoice reminder twice a day! Evewell has incredible customer care, helped cope with trauma from previous cycles. Good results, attentive. However, if you have reason to think your issue might be immunologic then I would go Lister dr. Yao Thum. As would end up saving money. I would investigate immunological profile if anyone has: allergies, asthma, history of autoimmune disease, recurrent miscarriage.

@Oumil agree with this. I am with CRGH they get results, hence why they are pricey but omg the admin and finance team are horrendous.

@Amyee 5th attempt was successful there. NHS just didn’t work for me.
