My lo caught it at nursery, everyone in my family was fine apart from my dad that got it horribly and ended up off work for 2 weeks. My son on the other hand was ill for two days then completely fine and you would even know apart from the rash
My lg had hfam at her birthday party (hadn’t realised) she played with her cousin of the same age for a few hours and my friend with her baby was there neither got it she would of been at her most contagious. I did get it from her but I was her main carer and she co-slept with me
It’s pretty contagious. My LG thankfully hasn’t caught it yet and so many in her nursery have had it. I’ve caught it off of my younger sister years ago and the older you are, I feel the worse it is to deal with. Hopefully he doesn’t get it, it’s possible he will be fine x
My little one has caught this and I didn’t know the others had it as the parents sent them out with it, they are allowed at nursery as long as they participate so it’s not the worst, my little one has it, one time when it hurt her throat and the other time she was fine just a couple of spots on her feet! She might be lucky and not get it! It’s only for a few days usually
