I had this happen to my baby trying porridge and I posted on here, lots replied explaining about contact reactions that aren’t actual allergic reactions! It does say that spinach is common to cause contact reactions because it’s high in histamine I’ll find the article that someone shared with me too but it’s reassuring that it may not be an actual allergy and if so then isn’t harmful xxx

Could be a first time reaction, my son has several food allergies and sees a dietician and unfortunately the only way to know it’s to try again. I use an app called solid starts though and the allergen information on it is very good xx
