Owlet sock

Has anyone tried to owlet sock? I have a 3 day old baby and I just can’t sleep thinking she’s going to stop breathing. I was thinking of getting a owlet sock but they are pricey so wanting to know they are worth it before I buy one 😊

We have one and this is my fourth baby and definitely the best baby monitor we've ever used its probably the best thing we've ever invested in baby wise for any of the kids 😊 xx

@Kirsty thank you so much! That’s answered my question ☺️ xx

Good question I want to know if it is worth the price

I have it too and I am definitely sleeping better. Before if she was silent I’d worry if she was breathing but I’m comfortable knowing the sock would give us an alert if something was wrong x

I never got the owlet because I had a couple friends try and and not love it. We had the angelcare monitor. It comes with a sensor pad that goes under the mattress and detects movement. You set the sensitivity when first setting it up so it can feel all corners of the crib. If there's no movement/breathing for 15 seconds it sets off an alarm both at your monitor and the baby's camera so it warns you as well as startles the baby to move and breathe. I loved that thing with my first

We have bought one for our baby girl arriving next month. I got annoyed with the sensor pad of the angelcare monitors cos I would forget to switch it off before picking baby up and then the alarm is frightening! Before we bought the Owlet, I saw plenty on Vinted for cheaper - even new & unused so maybe have a look there to save some money?

Totally worth it, sleep so much better knowing she has it on and we can track her sleep pattern to stay in routine too. Also very handy if poorly to check oxygen levels etc

Yes 100% recommend it, I used it for my first and it helped me sleep soundly (until he woke me up!). Definitely using it again for this baby x

I don’t have the owlet. But I use the nanit camera and when my little one was small we used the sleep sack from nanit. It also tracks movement, oxygen and breathing patterns. Now that my son is 17 months we still use the nanit, just switched to the sheets and band that track everything since he’s bigger
