Tomato plant

I have 2 tomato plants that are in flower pots. They are growing 4 tomatoes. Should I have a lattice?

I love the planter! We have like 8 tomato plants and we have a ton of green ones but they’re taking forever to turn red. I’m tired of buying my husband tomatoes because I hate them lol

@Haley 💚 I’m not sure, this is my first time ever using the lattice but only my second time trying to grow tomatoes. I will say that when I repotted it last night I found the roots were all bunched up like an inch and a half thick at the bottom. I couldn’t believe how tight it was for the plant because you couldn’t tell at all

@Tessa thank you! The I just got it the other day from a guy that hand makes them. Oh that’s so neat! Do you plant all of yours in the ground?

@Brittany we did this year. The last couple of years we did buckets because we ran out of bed space but didn’t have much success. This year we built two more raised planters so we’re trying in the ground again in hopes it works better. I thought about making a video of our garden to post!

@Haley 💚 @Brittany you don’t really need lattice , but a tomato cage to help support the weight of the tomato’s (depending on size)
