Personal choice but I lole what tempest said about blisters. I thought shoes were supposed to come later as they can mess with their foot development. Man these assumptions got me googling everything!
@Katie I only do shoes when outside just to protect his little feet but other than that he's always barefoot! Because I heard the same thing never really looked much into it but no sense in making him walk barefoot on rocks or hot pavement

I mean, if they’re only walking a little, then it isn’t really necessary. However, I think that shoes are more comfortable with socks. In the heat, why not use baby sandals?
If wearing socks with shoes make sure the socks do not have grips!!

I would only because of blistering I thought the same thing like him being too hot so I didn't put socks on I later regretted that decision when later that night I noticed a good sized blister on the back of his heel😭
